Christopher Schroeder graduated from Millikin University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He began his career at CliftonLarsonAllen in Champaign, IL where he specialized in audit/assurance services and employee benefit plans. After several years with the firm, he was given the opportunity to work at Vanderbilt Medical Center where he helped manage federal grants that specialized in advancing the study of infectious diseases. In 2015, he began working at Kelly’s Accounting Service, Inc. Today, he is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and specializes in corporate taxation, grant consulting, and advisory services.

Tammi graduated from Parkland College in 1994. After college, she worked as a bookkeeper for a restaurant. This helped her gain the knowledge she has now about the restaurant industry. She is a registered tax preparer and a Certified Public Bookkeeper. In addition, Tammi is also a Quickbooks ProAdvisor, which helps provide strategic advice for small businesses. She really enjoys looking into different types of payroll and sales tax.

Molly started working at Kelly’s Accounting in 2004 while she was still in high school. She continued working here throughout her undergrad and masters. She graduated from The University of Illinois in 2006 and then received her master’s degree in 2008. Molly enjoys her boss, co-workers, and clients, but her favorite part about her job is that no two days are the same. It is a fun and challenging atmosphere. She focuses on bookkeeping, sales tax, payroll taxes, and payroll.

Mike graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1988. He grew up in St. Joseph, Illinois, but moved to Monticello after graduation. He has been in Monticello for 30 years. Shanelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She began her career in Chicago, working in the mortgage lending industry for several years before relocating to Monticello to start her family. In 2006, she earned her CPA designation, which allowed her to build a diverse and well-rounded client base. Today, her work centers on individual taxation, not-for-profit organizations, small business consulting, and the unique tax considerations specific to ministers. In addition to her tax clients, she brings experience in GAAP reporting and audit, giving her a broad technical foundation and a practical understanding of financial compliance and reporting requirements.

Patty graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991 with a degree in retail marketing. She started working freelance with Kelly in 1995 and has been at Kelly’s accounting ever since. Patty enjoys working with the small businesses around the area. She finds it enlightening to see people succeed in their lives and businesses. Erin Fricke has worked at Kelly's Accounting since 2020. She handles payrolls, bookkeeping, billing, and accounts receivables and payables. Erin graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2012 with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences: Family Services. Tiffany graduated from Monticello High School in 2020 before heading west to the University of San Diego, where she earned a degree in Environmental and Ocean Science along with business minors. After graduation, she returned to her hometown and quickly found her place on the Kelly's Accounting team in the summer of 2024. Today, she handles bookkeeping and payroll for a range of clients and assists in data preparation during tax season. Tiffany loves being back in her small-town community, working close to family, and continuing to learn new things every day at Kelly's Accounting.

Grant graduated from the University of South Florida in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He previously worked at Busch Gardens Tampa in the park quality department and later moved to the finance team as a scheduler. Grant migrated back to central Illinois after four years in Florida and started working in Carle Health's Treasury department. He now does personal and business tax prep at Kelly's and is working towards receiving his Enrolled Agent designation.

Tracy was raised in Monticello and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Business Administration. She worked for 32 years at the University of Illinois, starting as a bookkeeper and retiring in 2017 as the Business Manager for the Department of Economics. She started working at Kelly's Accounting in 2020 and provides bookkeeping for our homeowner's associations and senior clients. She enjoys the short drive to work and the relationships she has made with her clients. You will see Tracy around Monticello and Bement sharing her knowledge as a Piatt County Master Gardener. She is also studying to become a licensed Real Estate Appraiser.

2013 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelors degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. Lives in Norridge, IL and works both remotely and onsite. Also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Real Estate Broker. Enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially at the farm in Tiskilwa. Played college volleyball and enjoys bow shooting and riding horses.

Wendy graduated from The University of Illinois in 1987 with a degree in mechanical engineering and later went back to receive her masters. Wendy and her husband moved to Monticello in 1989. She worked at CAT for nine years until she had children and wanted to spend more time with them. Wendy started working at Kelly’s Accounting in 2010. She really enjoys all of her co-workers and the town of Monticello. She focuses the majority of her time on bookkeeping and tax prep.

Michael Harris 

Seasonal Tax Preparer; I am a retired pharmacy manager and businessman of 50+ years. I assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and farms. I grew up in Monticello, graduating from Monticello High School in 1965. I hold BS, MS, MBA degrees from the University of Illinois, in pharmacy, agriculture, and business administration.

Kim Graff 

Kim graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1981 with a BS in Accounting. She went to work for ADM in Decatur as a Cost Accountant. In 1991, she went back to school to get her teaching certificate and taught Business Ed at St. Teresa High School from 1995 - 2002 and Mt. Zion High School from 2002 until she retired in 2020. Kim began preparing taxes last year and enjoys her job and her coworkers. She has gone full circle from working in Accounting to teaching Accounting and now is working in Accounting again.
